Tawakkol Karman: Iran wants to militarily overthrow Yemen

The Nobel Prize for Peace Laureate Ms. Tawakkol Karman calls upon the Yemeni President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi to speed up in dismissing of the ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s son from the Republican Guards leadership. Tawakkol accused Iran of a blatant intervention in the affairs of Yemen, not only a mere political intervention but also military one for militarily overthrowing of Yemen for the sake of its enterprise but it will fail as she said.

Karman in a statement for her said: if the President Hadi does not fire the ousted President off the Republican Guards leadership, the name of Republican Guards will be soon changed into that of the Revolutionary Guards owned by Ahmadi Nagad.

Karman calls the Houthi group to leave the options of violence and to enter into the political process. She said: if the Houthi group do admit into the peaceful political process, abandoning the options of violence, military arms and Irani support, it will be labeled as a terrorist movement and be dealt with as dealt with Al-Qaeda in Abyan and Shabwah. Karman hoped that this will not happen and that they will incline to the revolutionary peaceful national enterprise away from regional alliances or alliances with ousted president and his regime.

Tawakkol Karman affirmed that Hadi who is “walking through a minefiled” must achieve much and must take an urgent decree of dismissing Ahmed Ali and Ali Mohsen, of unification of the army and security, and then he could overcome the difficulties. “We appreciate the stance of Ali Mohsen with the revolution” she added.
