Wajeha Al-Huwaider: Saudi Women Need your Voices

    Dears,

I do believe free people around the world can help a lot to make women’s lives in Saudi Arabia better. We, as free individuals are obligated to speak up, for the freedoms of others- and for the basic civil rights and liberties in order to make this world safer and friendlier for all.

Now, you have powerful women in your government. These women can make a big difference in supporting women’s cause in different parts of the world.

We, ordinary people can join forces and organize a campaigns against the injustice that’s going on in Saudi Arabia. Start by sending letters to these powerful women to put pressure on the Saudi government. Also, send letters to the Saudi Embassy addressing the Saudi King, Abdulah Bin Abdulaziz, encourage him to improve Saudi women’s status by removing the male guardianship system.

We need your voices because your government can and will hear them and they will try to find ways to answer your request.

The 23rd of September is the Saudi National Day, Please speak up for the freedoms of Saudi women, send letters, fax or email messages to the Saudi Embassy in your country. Say it loudly and clearly “Stop the Male Guardianship System Now, Let Saudi Women Be in Charge of Their Lives.”

Thank you very much for your support.

    Best regards,

    Wajeha Al-Huwaider
