Benghazi definitively in hands of protestors, bloodbath feared if regime attempts a comeback

Thursday afternoon, February 17, 2011: News from credible sources inside Libya confirmed the ‘total collapse of regime forces in Libya’s second city, Benghazi, and its fall into the hands of protestors.

Metransparent sources predicted a ‘probable bloodbath’ as the Qaddafi regime was bound to attempt a comeback using tanks and artillery.

Sources confirmed the spread of protest movement to Tobruk (east), Kufra (south) and even Tripoli, where an anti-Qaddafi demonstration did take place today.
